Webbed Guides Hub
From the first silk thread to a finished sticker book.
This hub is the map of every practical guide on the wiki. Webbed looks tiny on a store page and then opens into a physics sandbox: you swing, you weave, you laser a plank, you accidentally eat a fly you needed for Virtuous. Use the pages below instead of guessing.
Start here if you just launched
New players should read Getting Started and keep Controls nearby. The nest tutorial is short, but the muscle memory for a lasting web (right-click, hold, aim, release) is what the rest of the bushland assumes you have. If swinging still feels sticky after ten minutes, skip ahead to Web Mechanics and practise on The Tree instead of in a spike pit.
Story and area order
The walkthrough follows Buddy from the opening dance through ants, dung beetles, bees, the balloon, and the Sky Bower. You do not have to finish the colonies in that order — the moth’s quest log lets you mix them — but that route keeps backtracking low. When you are ready to confront the bird, use the dedicated Sky Bower guide so the fight does not surprise you with the laser rhythm.
Completion and extras
Webbed’s map paints a screen white when that room is clean. Collectibles lists baby spiders, pollen, larvae, flies, and the four golden webs. Achievements explains the 19 Steam trophies, including the mutually exclusive fly goals. Hats and stickers covers the sticker book, the helmet, and the secret hat button. The hidden half-pipe has its own skatepark guide. For scores and runtime, see the review.
How these guides are written
Each page is a single topic. When a real YouTube video helps, it sits in the middle of the article — never a pile of clips at the bottom. If a mechanic changed after launch, check patch notes before you assume the wiki is wrong. Use the language switcher in the header to stay on the same guide in French, German, or Spanish.
Meet the cast if you want character context, or open the world map when you are lost between The Canopy and The Dunghill. The game is single-player, already released, and short enough that a careful first run can still 100% if you turn auto-eat off on day one.
Pain points these guides exist to kill
People bounce off Webbed for a handful of repeatable reasons. Silk aiming feels imprecise until weave versus swing clicks — that is the controls plus web mechanics pairing. The anthill looks like a softlock when an elevator closes; it is usually a second shaft. The dunghill looks broken because mud refuses webs. The canopy looks infinite because babies hang on threads you treated as decoration. The balloon looks unfinished when the motor is one pixel off the neck. None of those are random. They are the game teaching a verb, then asking you to reuse it in a messier room. If you only read one extra page after this hub, make it Getting Started, then come back and pick the biome you are actually standing in.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Webbed questions.
Which Webbed guide should I open first?
Start with Getting Started if you have not left the nest. Jump to Collectibles if you are already hunting map ticks.
Is there a full story walkthrough?
Yes — the walkthrough covers the rescue route, and Sky Bower isolates the ending fight.
Do I need a video for every page?
No. Some pages are text-first. Where a real video helps, it sits in the middle of the article, not as a dump of unrelated clips.
