Webbed Hats and Stickers

Stickers are Webbed’s cosmetic layer and the backbone of Collector. They live in the journal’s third tab. Grey means you have not earned it. Equip a sticker to change Buddy’s skin, hat, or both. This page is the unlock list, not a fashion ranking.

How the sticker book works

Complete a condition — finish a colony, deliver pollen, meet a hidden spider, skate the letters — and an NPC or the journal stamps a page. Skins and headpieces combine. The skateboard is a movement toy as much as a look — full route in the skatepark guide. Filling every page is the Collector achievement; see Achievements for the rest of the 19.

How to reach the secret hat button in Webbed

Story and quest stickers

• Gear / helmet — Finish the anthill mecha work. Equip it for Safety First.
• Tiara — All 42 pollen to the Queen Bee (Prettiest Princess).
• #1 Mum — Return all 40 baby spiders.
• Dung — Finish the dung beetle fuel story.
• Fly — Engage with the fly collectible set (catching, not necessarily eating).
• Boyfriend — Reunite in the Sky Bower.
• Skateboard — Complete the skate-park letter hunt (Learn 2 Sk8). Grapple the board for silly flight in The Tree.
• Robo-Spider — Search and Rescue: pull the spider-bot out of dunghill rubble.
• Ant Nurse — Tied to recovering larvae / helping the colony nursery.

Hidden spider stickers

Several skins come from finding other spiders and interacting:

• Golden Orb Weaver — After the four golden webs, or the spider who tends that secret.
• Redback — Hidden; look in awkward corners the honeycomb arrows ignore.
• Ogre-faced — Another off-path resident. High dunghill / secret rooms are the usual suspects.
• Robot — Same as Search and Rescue if you have not stamped it yet.

Walk up and talk or dance. If they ignore you, you are on the wrong ledge.

The secret hat button

Past the dunghill couple you helped across the water, slingshot over a ridge on the top-left of that screen. Hug the wall as you fall so you land on a tucked platform instead of the slope. The button cycles hats. A short community video is embedded mid-article because the geometry is easier to copy than to describe. This is optional flavour; Collector still cares about the book, not every hat on the button.

Using cosmetics as tools

The helmet is an achievement checkbox. The skateboard is a movement upgrade in the park and, with a grapple, a joke flying machine. Skins do not change hitboxes. Arachnophobe mode restyles spiders globally; it does not delete your sticker book — see Arachnophobe Mode.

If Collector will not unlock

Open the book and note which portrait is grey. Story stickers mean a colony is unfinished. Hidden spider stickers mean you need the map dotted rooms. Dance stickers overlap Strictly Bugroom — if a species is missing, you never hit Q in front of them. The walkthrough will not list every secret spider on purpose; hunting is the point.

Webbed’s charm is that a crown and a dung badge weigh the same in the book. Wear both. Then go finish Floor is Lava looking ridiculous.

Hat button versus sticker book

Players confuse the cycling dunghill button with Collector. The button is a dressing-up toy Sbug upgraded shortly after launch (patch notes). It does not stamp missing portraits. If your book still shows a grey redback, you have not found that spider, no matter how many hats you cycled. Work the map dotted rooms instead of the button. Combine a story skin with a button hat if you just want screenshots. Arachnophobe blobs still wear hats, which is extremely funny and slightly harder to screenshot for a wiki. For movement, only the skateboard sticker changes how rooms play; everything else is vanity. That vanity is the point. Webbed is a short game that wants you to linger as a ridiculous bug.
