Webbed Tools Hub
Map, accessibility, and the journal tricks that save a second playthrough.
Guides tell you what to do. These tools tell you where you are and how to make the game comfortable. Webbed already includes a generous in-game journal; this hub explains how to read it and which setting to flip if spiders are a problem.
World map
The map page breaks the bush into The Tree, Anthill, Dunghill, Canopy, and Sky Bower. It flags one-way drops, the balloon as a gated elevator, and why a white node means you can stop searching that screen. Open it when the honeycomb arrows in the bee area have lied to your curiosity.
Arachnophobe mode
Arachnophobe mode restyles spiders as colourful blobs. Mechanics stay. Sbug Games added it because social media still flinched at even cute pixel legs. Use it. The wiki screenshots show the default spider look because those are the official Steam captures.
Journal as a tool
Tab has three jobs: map, quests, stickers. Quests split “what to do” from “what you have bagged.” Stickers are cosmetics and Collector progress — hats. If you only use the map tab, you will still 100% faster than players who wander.
Pairing tools with guides
Lost in pipes? Walkthrough anthill section plus the map. Hunting babies? Collectibles. Scared? Arachnophobe page, then go back to Getting Started. The game is short, single-player, and already released — these tools exist so the remaining hours are pleasant, not because a live-service season changed the layout.
System requirements are tiny (Windows 10, 1 GB RAM, 250 MB). Steam Deck Verified. If the tool you wanted was “codes” or “scripts,” those belong to other games; Webbed does not have them. Official store links live on the links hub.
Suggested toolkit for a first weekend
Saturday: Getting Started plus Controls, arachnophobe on or off, auto-eat decided. Sunday: map on Tab while you run the walkthrough. Whenever a node stays dark, swap to collectibles instead of wandering the same orchid three times. That is the whole “tool” fantasy in a game this small — not a damage calculator, a habit. If you came from live-service wikis looking for a crafting planner, Webbed will disappoint you in a healthy way. Silk is the planner. The journal is the spreadsheet. We only translate both into sentences. Keep this hub pinned if you are the kind of player who opens twelve tabs; you only need map plus arachnophobe plus the requirements sheet. Everything else is a guide, not a tool.
